Storm Force Weather Update
Meteorologist Chris Tomer - Tuesday AM
Tranquil weather settles back in.....Arctic cold start this morning.....
Yesterday's snowstorm has exited leaving clearing skies and an Arctic airmass in place across CO. Bundle up this morning. Temperatures are around zero or colder. I'm expecting lots of sunshine today across the Foothills, Front Range and Eastern Plains with highs approaching 30°. Some clouds roll into the Western Slope Mountains today and a few snow showers are possible across the San Juans. 8,000ft highs around 28°.
The rest of the week looks fairly quiet with just some passing clouds at time and moderating temperatures. While our readings will be in the chilly 30s we should start to see more 40s by the weekend. Right now there is nothing on the horizon for snow in the Denver area. The mountains may see some snow showers from time to time, but accumulation looks minimal.
Stay with The Deuce for the latest information on this approaching storm system.
