BAILEY, Colo. -
Park County authorities reported minor damage from a twister at a state park Tuesday
There were reports of a tornado touching down Tuesday in the Lake George area, about 100 miles southeast of Denver. The Park County sheriff's department says the storm flattened trees and damaged a few vehicles.
FOX 31 viewer Manny Martinez took several photographs of the damage.
No injuries were reported.
The National Weather Service says members of the public also reported a tornado about 35 miles west of Colorado Springs. It was moving east.
Another funnel cloud was reported about 50 miles south of Pueblo. The Weather Service says radar picked up a rotating storm in that area capable of producing a tornado.
The weather service issued severe thunderstorm warnings for several northeast Colorado counties, including parts of Baca, Bent and Las Animas.
