DENVER -
We should learn more details Thursday about how authorities responded to the crash of an Army Black Hawk helicopter last week near Leadville.
Four soldiers died after the chopper from Fort Campbell, Ky. crashed into Mount Massive, Colorado's second highest peak. Representatives of Fort Carson, the Colorado National Guard and the Lake County Sheriff's office plan to hold a news conference Thursday to talk about how they worked together to respond to the crash.
Hundreds of service members have trained in Colorado to learn how to fly in high-altitude conditions, including many bound for Afghanistan. The Army hasn't said much about what these soldiers were doing in Colorado.
