Elway's Downtown Chili
Chef Robert bogart shows us how to make Steak Chili.
Elway's Downtown Chili
Ingredients:
1lb. Beef, New York or Rib Eye, cubed ¼"
1 TBSP Oil
In a large steam kettle, brown the beef in the shortening.

1 TBSP Onion Powder
1/2 TBSP Garlic Powder
1 TBSP Chili Powder, Paul
1 TBSPAnaheim Chili Powder
1 TBSP Chili Powder
1/2 cup Tomato Sauce, 7/11
5 oz. Beef Stock
1 TBSP Cumin
1 TBSP Masa Harina
Add all ingredients to kettle and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for approximately 30 minutes.


1/4 TBSP Dark Chili Powder
1 TBSP Chipotle Chili Powder
2 TBSP Dried Oregano
2 TBSP Granulated Garlic
1 teas Ancho Chili Powder
1 teas Pasilla Powder
1 1/2 cups Water
Add all ingredients to pot and simmer for an additional 15 minutes.
Add water and simmer for 1 ½ hours.
